Greetings Sorors, Amicae and Youth of North Carolina,

I am humbled and honored to be given the opportunity to serve you in the capacity of North Carolina State Director.   I am truly eager to make a positive contribution while working with each of you. It is my belief the dedicated Zetas of North Carolina will continue to make a difference as we support the programmatic focus of our International Grand Basileus Barbara C. Moore and our Eastern Region Director Bettye A. Murchison.

Together we will continue the legacy of being number one in the Eastern Region for membership growth as we continuously increase our Z-Hope projects and our chapters’ participation in Walk America. We will also work with determination to achieve our goal for the required numbers to purchase the Zeta North Carolina license plate.

By utilizing the North Carolina newsletter along with the list serve and e-mails to the chapter Basileus, I will continue the open lines of communication implemented by our immediate Past State Director Soror Bettye A. Murchison.

Again I thank you for the opportunity to continue to serve Zeta and the members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in North Carolina. Please remember to mark your calendar for October 6 - 7, 2006 for our Annual Leadership Retreat in Fayetteville, North Carolina; I look forward to seeing you at that time.
